Dr. Kamal Virk-Uppal, DMD

The Professional Side
Dr. Virk-Uppal grew up in Calgary and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Manitoba. Since graduating, she has continued to practice in the Calgary area since 2008. Dr. Virk-Uppal is proud to provide high-quality, personalized dental care to the patients of Copperfield Dental Center. With the help of her wonderful team, she is able to create a relaxed environment that is enjoyable for staff and patients alike.
The Personal Side
Dr. Virk-Uppal has three children – 2 boys and a girl – who keep her very busy! When she’s not seeing patients, you can find Dr. Virk-Uppal exploring the outdoors with her kids. She often says that she is reliving her childhood through her children, whether it’s building snowmen, going on long bike rides, or exploring parks and playgrounds around the city. She is very active and tries to make sure she gets a 30-minute workout every day. She also loves reading – anything from self-help to great fiction novels can be found on her bookshelf.
